Get Help
If gambling is no longer fun or is causing harm to you or someone close to you, help is available. The services below are free, confidential and operate across Ireland. Stop playing, install Gamban if you need a hard block, and contact one of the services below for support.
You can also reach out to a friend, family member or your GP. Most people who seek help early recover well. The longer the issue is left, the more it can affect finances, relationships and mental health.

When to seek help
You do not have to wait until things get serious. If you are spending more than you planned, gambling to escape stress, hiding it from people close to you, or feeling guilty afterwards, that is reason enough to talk to someone. Problem Gambling Ireland and Dunlewey both run free counselling and online chat if you prefer not to call.
Self-exclusion across operators
Ireland does not currently operate a national self-exclusion register, although one is being introduced under the new gambling regulation framework. In the meantime, install Gamban on every device you use, which blocks access to thousands of gambling sites and apps. You can also request self-exclusion individually from each operator you hold an account with.
You must be 18 or older to gamble in Ireland. ProntoBet Ireland supports player-protection requirements set out by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland. See also our responsible gambling tools.
